You’re a mean, lean embroidering machine, and you want the whole world to know it. What you’ve been doing thus far, however, hasn’t exactly convinced everyone of your talent.
So what can you do to brand yourself as an awesome embroidery business?
Invest in an embroidery digitizing service.
While that sounds like a great idea, it might also sound like something you haven’t put much thought into. What should you be looking for when you select digitizing services? And what are some of the don’ts of looking for a digitizing service?
Looking to find out the answers to those questions? Stick with us for a minute or two.
There is nothing surprising here. Quality always matters, regardless of which goods or services we’re talking about.
Of course, “quality” means something different across different industries. When we talk about digitizing services, two things are of the utmost importance: experience and the accuracy of the copy of your art.
You can’t make compromises when it comes to experience. Digitizing looks easy to some people, but it takes time to master. For this reason, you want a company that’s been in business for a while so that your print can be as accurate as possible.
And what does all of this really mean?
Well, to be blunt, you can’t skimp on your digitizing services. Don’t look for the cheapest options because it won’t yield the best results.
There’s another reason why cheap services are a no-go. Though they definitely allow you to save money, they come at a cost. They often lack a variety of service features.
Some digitizing services, for instance, don’t allow clients to ask for edits. If the agency makes the mistake, it doesn’t have to bear the cost of fixing its mistake.
Now does that sound fair to you?
To be fair here, though, this problem isn’t unique to cheap agencies. Even some pricier ones don’t offer many service features. As a result, you always want to ask about a digitizing agency’s service features.
A lot of us admittedly don’t think too much about customer service before we’re up the creek. Some of us just don’t expect things to go wrong, but even the best agencies make mistakes sometimes. Having said this, make sure that you look into the quality of an agency’s customer service.
Needless to say, doing so won’t necessarily be easy. No digitizing agency is going to admit to having terrible customer service.
Consequently, the burden of assessing the quality of the customer service will be on you. Do some snooping on the net and ask around to find out just how well (or poorly) an agency handles clients’ concerns.
So what are you thinking right now? Are you hiring that embroidery digitizing service anytime soon? Or are you thinking that doing all of this research is just a little overwhelming?
If you’re in no mood to do all of that research, we’ll spare you that process. Just contact us and we’ll get right on helping you digitize your designs.
